Each year the proceeds generated from the annual Sculpture in the Park show go towards the purchase of sculpture for Benson Sculpture Garden as well as towards the funding of park improvements and landscaping. Currently, 139 pieces of sculpture grace the grounds of the park. This extraordinary collection of art is situated around a lagoon in the midst of trees, flowers, and natural habitat areas. With the Rocky Mountains as a majestic backdrop, Benson Sculpture Garden has been described as "one of the most unique sculpture gardens in the nation." It is open to the public throughout the year, and annually this "public treasure" draws tens of thousands of visitors from around the world.

Bohemian Nights at NewWestFest ~ Fort Collins

Bohemian Nights at NewWestFest features a stellar entertainment lineup throughout the weekend with eight stages of entertainment. Six music stages, the Dance Showcase Stage and Kids’ World Stage making a total of eight stages of continuous entertainment to satisfy every audience. This community celebration will offer over 250 festival booths, an interactive and playful Kids’ World, a carnival, great Colorado beer, wine and margaritas and lots of mouth-watering food. All ages are welcome and all performances are free to the public. Festival hours are Friday 5:00-10:00pm, Saturday 10:00am until 7:00pm with music concerts until 10:00pm & Sunday 10:00am to 7:00pm.

This year's national headliners are Big Head Todd and the Monsters, Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo, and WAR! Not to mention the 70+ Colorado bands!

August 8th: If you missed the Moses Jones Band or Funkiphino, this is another chance to get your funky groove on with Mr. J and the Smooth Expressions. "Mr J" is actually Moses Jones, so you know the funky dance groove will be goin' on.

August 15th: Noble Energy sponsors a rock band this evening and will conduct a fundraiser with all proceeds going to "A Woman's Place" ... Greeley women's shelter. Dance to the rock 'n roll variety sounds of Shaving Peggy.

August 22nd: Golden Oldies, Beach, Motown, Country, Jazz, Rock, Funk, Rhythm and Blues, and Contemporary, Soul School brings it all to the stage.

August 29th: Brothers of the Son is a six piece band that embodies the spirit and emotion of Southern Rock, Colorado Style. What is Southern Rock, Colorado Style? It's a Western invention. It's the mixing of classic Southern Rock attitude with the unbridled ethic of the Colorado music scene as viewed through the eyes of a bunch of Colorado boys (and girl!) that have played together for thirty years.

Windsor Harvest Festival ~ Windsor

Something for everyone at the 93rd annual Windsor Harvest Festival!

This year's festival kicks off at 7:00 am, Saturday, August 30th with a Balloon Festival at Eastman Park (weather permitting), then feed your hunger with the Town Barbeque at Boardwalk Park, 100 N. 5th Street, beginning at 4:00 pm. Enjoy the Street Dance following the BBQ. The night will wrap up with a great Fireworks display over Windsor Lake.

The activities will switch to Main Park on Sunday and Monday where there will be close to 200 Arts and Crafts and Commercial Booths as well as a great selection of Food Vendors. There will be great music and demonstrations coming from the Entertainment Stage in the park along with plenty of rides and games for the kids!

The parade on Monday, September 1 begins at 9:00 am and promises to be great as always!

This annual Town celebration hosted by the Town since the 1930s. Historically speaking, it was an event from the 1930s to World War II. The event stopped and began again in 1972 when a couple of people were roasting beef on one of Milliken's corners. Since this time, the event has continued to grow substantially each year. Beef & Bean Day has many different booths from outside vendors and events for people to participate in. In addition, there is a pancake breakfast, small parade, kids games, live music, barbeque, and fireworks which encompass a full day of many events.

Take a step back in time and explore the history of Estes Park at the Heritage Festival. Your entire family can participate, learning about the hearty pioneers who settled the region. As quilters and woodcarvers demonstrate their crafts nearby, children don leather gloves and help assemble a log home. Well-muscled draft horses haul families around in an antique wagon from historic MacGregor Ranch. Experience another era when you travel in a vintage Stanley Steamer, invented by F.O. Stanley of Stanley Hotel fame. Plan to also visit the military encampment, browse the antique dolls and research your family history at the ancestry and lineage booth. Let loose at the Saturday night street dance from 7pm to 9pm. This celebration of history and heritage takes place at the Fairgrounds at Stanley Park.

Labor Day Arts and Crafts Show ~ Estes Park

It is a weekend that promises a fun day of unique shopping in Bond Park and throughout the adjacent downtown area. Estes Valley Sunrise Rotary Club sponsors the event.
