40s on 4th Street Block Party ~ Loveland

Celebrate the World War II era at 40s on 4th Street block party in Loveland, CO! Saturday August 1 from 3 - 11:00 P.M., enjoy WWII tanks and memorabilia, a showing of the film "Kelly's Heroes," and a dance featuring the Hot Tomatoes Dance Band from 7:30 -10:30P.M.! The Forty Thieves and other reenactment groups will be there with displays keeping the history of our WWII Veterans alive.
Fine Art & Wine Festival + Sculpture in the Park ~ Loveland

The Loveland Fine Art & Wine Invitational features three days of world-class art, wine, music and food.
The Annual Loveland Art weekend attracts thousands of visitors, patrons and collectors to this picturesque Rocky Mountain community. Featuring renowned artists from across the country displaying thousands of original works in a wide variety of medium and subject matter, including sculptures, paintings, blown glass, mixed media, custom ironwork, home furnishings and more. Over 170 juried artists are expected to participate in the 2015 Fine Art Show.

32nd Annual Sculpture in the Park
August 8 - 9th
Set on the grounds of the Benson Sculpture Garden, each year the participating artists are selected by a jury comprised of experienced sculptors representing different styles and mediums. Traditionally, about one fourth of the selected artists are new to Sculpture in the Park. The inclusion of new artists, coupled with a show policy that requires returning artists to display newly produced work, ensures that Sculpture in the Park has a refreshingly new and diversified look each year.
Old Fashioned Corn Roast ~ Loveland

This fun event includes the parade, corn shucking competition, corn eating contest and all the roasted and boiled corn anyone could eat! In addition, people of all ages can enjoy a variety of entertainment, great vendors and more. General attendance and all concerts are free and open to the public.

Bohemian Nights at NewWestFest is a free, three-day music festival held each August in historic downtown Fort Collins. The 2015 festival will take place Aug. 14, 15 and 16. In addition to a large Colorado lineup, three renowned headliners anchor main stage performances each night. The annual festival is produced in collaboration with the Downtown Fort Collins Business Association and Bohemian Nights Foundation as a part of the NewWestFest celebration. This free community music festival features a variety of genres and includes a family-centered Kids’ Music Adventure.

Weld County Fair ~ Greeley

The Weld County Fair is an annual free event held the last week in July. Our fair is open to the public and boasts a variety of displays and contests. The fair gives the youth and adults of Weld County an opportunity to exhibit their skills in a wide variety of areas including agriculture, livestock, natural resources, engineering, consumer and family, fine arts, horticulture and family living.
The Fair is planned and presented by a volunteer board appointed by the Weld County Commissioners, along with the Weld County Fair Coordinator and Fair Secretary. Colorado State University Extension Agents serve as educational advisors to the fair.

National Night Out ~ Windsor

This year's National Night Out is Tuesday, August 4, 2015. This national program encourages citizens to have a block party, meet neighbors and help fight crime in their area. Similar to a neighborhood watch program, a block captain organizes his/her neighborhood and has an ice cream social, BBQ, corn roast or any type of event they want to plan for that evening. Events usually run between the hours of 4:30pm to 8:30pm.
Representatives from the Town of Windsor, The Windsor Police Department and Windsor - Severance Fire District will visit each location and meet the residents of the neighborhood to discuss concerns, answer questions and get acquainted in a non-formal setting. Cul de sacs may be blocked off for this event but not through streets. This is a great way to get to know your neighbors and become familiar with your neighborhood.

National Night Out ~ Johnstown

Hotdogs, popcorn and popsicles will be served. Children will be allowed to view police cars, tour the station, use sidewalk chalk, and color. National Night Out is a cohesive effort to promote involvement in crime prevention activities, police-community partnerships, neighborhood camaraderie and send a message to criminals letting them know that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.

The 7th annual Handmade in Colorado Expo is a showcase of some of Colorado's Best Handmade Arts, Crafts, Food, and Goods. All merchandise displayed at this juried show is handmade in Colorado and sold direct by the artist or crafter.
Local artists will represent a wide range of media including metals, paper, fibers, food, found and fabricated objects, clay, paint, wax, gems, and more. All work sold will be created from both emerging and experienced artisans from Colorado.
This event is designed for Locavores as customers will only find Colorado made items sold by exhibitors that will interact directly with their customers. There will be an exciting mix of free music from local bands and Live Performance Art throughout the weekend.
