The Savage Woods is proud to present the 2nd annual Christmas Walk in the Woods this December 17th to 23rd, 5pm to 8pm nightly. The Christmas Walk in the Woods is just west of Loveland. The Christmas Walk will feature a merry assortment of carolers and music. Santa will also be in the woods, in person, to hear the children’s Christmas wishes. Cameras are welcome and encouraged. $12 per person, children 5 and under are free!

Nothing says Christmas like a bunch of folks getting together and singing classic Christmas songs. Tradition used to call for these groups to gather and go to their friends and neighbors doors to sing, but times have changed and that just doesn’t happen often anymore. Caroling however, still happens. For twenty years now Carolfest has brought together people of all ages and singing abilities in song and celebration in Downtown Fort Collins.

All ages, all abilities, well everyone is invited to join the Choice City Singers as they lead the public in timeless Christmas carols. This free event begins at 6:30pm at the Opera Galleria on Friday, December 2nd. The procession of carolers will begin at the Opera Galleria, as they meet to warm up their festive voices. The caroling group will bring warmest holiday wishes to the residents of the Northern Hotel by singing in their lobby, and then move to Santa’s Workshop, singing all along the way. After visiting Santa’s Workshop and Old Town Square, the party will make its way to the final destination of Oak Street Plaza.

Homesteader’s Holiday ~ Greeley

Visitors can enjoy candle dipping in the Carriage House as well as creating their own ornaments in the Lone Valley School. Food concessions are available in the Hall House with proceeds benefiting the Friends of the Greeley Museums. The Stevens-Reynolds House is lavishly decorated in traditional holiday style and Selma’s Store is available for visitors to shop for unique gifts and other holiday items. Admission is $4/adult, $2/senior (60+) and youth (3-17) and is free for children 12 and under with a canned food donation for the Weld Food Bank.

The main dinosaur exhibit features ultra-realistic, life-size animatronic dinosaurs; Over 50 life-size dinosaurs in all. Visitors can interact with these huge creatures, learn about them and even ride a few. It features realistic scenes, enormous dinosaurs, cute baby dinosaurs and lots of fun activities for kids of all ages. There are huge T-Rex and Triceratops fossil digs where young paleontologists can uncover long hidden dinosaur bones, the "Dino Bounce" area with several, towering, dinosaur theme inflatable mazes, face painting, Dino crafts and much more!

Holiday Home Tour ~ Johnstown-Milliken

The annual Holiday Home Tour will be held on Saturday, December 10 this year from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tickets are $15 each. If you buy 2, the third is $10. Gather up your friends, load up the car and tour 4 lovely homes throughout Johnstown in addition to the museum. The Daniels home is the featured historic home on the tour this year. Built in 1925 it was the church parsonage and has seen renovations over the years. The Parish House and Museum will also be decorated by local businesses. Each have offered to select a room and prepare it for the holiday season. We are thankful to Daphne's Boutique, Hays Market, Sweet Stuff Bakery, Johnstown Clothing and Johnstown Graphix!
