Northern Colorado Fall Festivals & Corn Mazes! Art By Bike: Exploring Loveland’s Public Art ~ Loveland

Location: Meet @ Chilson Senior Center Parking Lot

Enjoy a morning of bike riding while exploring Loveland’s public art. This leisurely ride will be approximately 10 miles and will highlight local art pieces that are on display in Loveland. A stop will be made along the way for refreshments.

Annual Art Studio Tour ~ Loveland
October 8-9 & 15-16, 2016

Visitors will have the chance to meet the artists, buy original artworks, and learn, how and where artists create pottery, jewelry, photography, painting, sculpture, fiber arts. The included artists reflect the amazing creative talent available right in our own community.

Over 40 artist at 26 locations on the self-guided map tour (see website for map). Admission is free and open to the public. Look for signs en route to, and in front of each studio.

Halloween Family Fun Festival ~ Loveland

Dress up the family and head into town for some Halloween fun! The Loveland Museum/Gallery is celebrating the Annual Halloween Family Fun Festival, while downtown businesses celebrate the annual Downtown Trick-or-Treating. Join us in Peters Park next to the Museum for this fun-filled community event with vendor booths, food, activities for kids, entertainment, trick-or-treating, and a costume contest.

October 22, 2016 is when the undead take over downtown Fort Collins to raise money for Turning Point. Tiny Tot Halloween Parade ~ Fort Collins

It’s time to scare up some new costume ideas for your little ones! The annual Tiny Tot Halloween presented by COUNTRY Financial will be held on Monday, October 31st beginning at 10:00 a.m. We invite all children under seven years old and their parents/guardians to join us for a safe trick-or-treating experience in Downtown Fort Collins.

Participants gather in Old Town Square Plaza beginning at 10 a.m. to receive a goodie bag (while supplies last) with a map indicating the designated trick-or-treat area. The event will occur along the sidewalks all around Old Town and crossing guards will be present at major intersections to ensure everyone’s safety.

Visit the activities area with inflatable games, face painting, magic and more. Support our local high school bands as the Marching Band Showcase shows off this local talent. Then indulge in delicious food prepared by UNC's award-winning dining services.

Get an Inside Look at the City! Greeley offers great facilities… indoors and out. From fishing spots to the police headquarters to backstage at the UCCC. See your tax dollars in action! A G. Town Tour is a free and fun event to acquaint residents and visitors with interesting aspects of the city that they might not otherwise know much about. The tour will begin and end at the Greeley Ice Haus parking lot in Downtown Greeley. The tour is free but reservations are required to ensure a seat on the bus. Howl-O-Ween Trick-or-Treat ~ Greeley

Location: Centennial Village Museum

Wear your spookiest (or silliest) costume and head to Centennial Village for tricks and treats as you stop at each of our historic structures. Try your hand at Halloween carnival games and participate in the costume contest. $1 children, $2 adults 18 and older.

REFLECTION: Art Exhibition ~ Windsor-Severance

With a theme based on the poetry of Henry David Thoreau, "REFLECTION" brings together the best artists from across the region. This juried art competition is made possible by Suzette McIntyre and the Boardwalk Park Gallery of Windsor. Winners of the exhibition will be published in a book of poetry and art. Exhibited artwork can be purchased through the Boardwalk Gallery. Millken Police Department and Mares Auto Center Present the Annual Milliken Halloween Free Family Fun Night, Saturday October 29, 2016 from 5:30pm to 8:00pm. Event includes a free dinner, costume contest, games, prizes and more.

Trick Or Treat Street hosted by the Johnstown Milliken Chamber will be held Saturday, October 29, 2016. This event is a family friendly way to Trick Or Treat during the day to the local businesses in Milliken. Business Participants will have a Trick Or Treat Street Pumpkin sign in their windows and will include Town Hall and the Police Station. Milliken's Trick Or Treat Street will take place from Noon to 2pm and will include a free lunch for the kiddo in the parking lot east of Town Hall.

Elk Fest ~ Estes Park

Elk Fest features bugling competitions, a Cabela's archery range, Colorado Parks & Wildlife's Elk Camp, seminars, elk-themed kids' activities, live country, rock and bluegrass music, elk-inspired arts and crafts, Native American storytelling & music, a display of raptors, and self-guided elk tour maps. There will also be a variety of vendors offering memorable souvenirs of your time at Elk Fest. Food vendors will be on site as well offering plenty of choices! Stop into the "Wallowing Hole" craft beer garden on both Saturday and Sunday serving up delicious drinks. Kick off the weekend festivities by participating in the Rut Run 5k on Saturday; registration starts at 8:30am and the race begins at 9am. Live entertainment will light up the park Saturday with popular Colorado bands on stage! There is no admission fee to attend Elk Fest.

The 3rd annual Estes Park Pumpkins and Pilsners Festival is a a fun fall festival for everyone in the family! Jam to live music on stage all day from popular Colorado bands sure to get you up and dancing!

Purchase a pumpkin from the pumpkin patch and sip on locally brewed seasonal beer from local Estes Park breweries to help support the local non-profit organization, Families for Estes.

The Historic Stanley Hotel Announces its Biggest Halloween Lineup Ever with its Twin Terror Weekends to celebrate the 2016 Halloween season. Widely recognized as one of the “most haunted hotels”, The Stanley Hotel plans to enliven the spirits of its visitors and more “permanent guests” with its biggest events of the year.

The Halloween celebrations kick-off with an evening of ghostly gastronomy at the Redrum Mystery Dinner on Friday, October 21st. Both evenings will feature live music, dancing, drinks and abundant hors d’oeuvres and imaginative Halloween costumes. This spooky double-header is the best way to slay the Halloween season.
