|Arbor Day - Tree Plantings ~ Loveland|

Additional Arbor Day Tree Plantings will be held on APRIL 12th, 2014:
The premier Arbor Day tree plantings will be on Saturday, April 12, 2014 at 9:00 a. m. The plantings will take place at Fairgrounds Park, on the west side of the Barnes Softball Complex fields (southwest of the Batting Cages).
Volunteers from the Loveland High School chapter of the National Honor Society & Loveland High School Key Club will plant 12-15 trees.
DIRECTIONS: Enter the park by turning west off of S. Cleveland onto SE 5th St. Watch for signs, directing volunteers to the planting site. Please dress appropriately for the weather. Wear gloves, suitable footwear, and layered outwear. Also, please bring a shovel for digging, marked with your name.

The International Lifetree Film Festival is a cinematic celebration featuring creative filmmakers and their films from around the globe. The primary goal of the Lifetree Film Festival is to showcase films demonstrating people “doing life” or “doing good.” These films often celebrate the human condition and dive headlong into topics that make us laugh, cry, expand our understanding, give us hope, or cause us to think. |Children's Water Festival ~ Greeley|

Location: Island Grove
The Central Colorado Water Conservancy District created the Children's Water Festival in 1991. This festival is one of the oldest children's water festivals in the nation. In 2006, the City of Greeley Water Conservation and Stormwater programs began co-sponsoring the event.
The Children's Water Festival in Greeley is a free event for 4th grade students in Weld, Morgan and Adams Counties. The water festival brings water professionals from around Colorado to provide presentations and activities about water, conservation, human health, and aquatic life, while covering a wide range of curriculum areas including language arts, math, science, social studies, visual art, and health. The festival goals are to teach students that water is an essential, limited resource and that they can take action. The event provides teachers with materials and lessons that they can use for years to come.

The Town of Windsor Tree Board will host the 9th annual Arbor Day 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, April 26th. The race will start and finish at Boardwalk Park and follow the Windsor Lake Trail. Proceeds will go towards planting trees throughout the community. Leashed dogs are welcome. Fee includes a t-shirt (while supplies last). Awards will be given to the top runners/walkers. All ages welcome!

Festival Prize Pursuit – The prize pursuit is a challenge to those who attend to find clues scattered through different booths to arrive at a solution. When they solve the problem they are entered in a drawing to win a big prize. The Prize Pursuit benefits all vendors because it circulates attendees who participate in the prize pursuit throughout the booths as they are searching for their clues. For an additional fee, you can become a Festival Prize Pursuit Destination where attendees find a clue. Previous festivals have had as many as 150 attendees participate in the prize pursuit.

Founded in 2013 by The Stanley Hotel to celebrate the property's iconic Hollywood heritage, the four-day event showcases filmmakers' latest works, Q&A discussions, industry panels, student film competition, and special events for cinema insiders, enthusiasts and fellow artists.

Registration will take place at the guest relations table for teams of four for a relay style race between 32 teams to determine one winner who will walk away with a complimentary stay at the Stanley Hotel.
● EYE HEART BRAINS ZOMBIE CRAWL When there's no more room in hell, the dead will walk the Earth. And, now you can too. Converge upon the Stanley Film Festival in style by participating in a good ol'fashioned Zombie Crawl hosted by Eye Heart Brains, purveyors of the world's largest zombie gatherings. The death march will move along The Stanley Hotel grounds and through the neighboring streets of Estes Park in search of brains.
